Named after our pretty local river, the gardening club is a gathering of like minded people where they can swap ideas, listen to talks by experts, buy and sell plants and join outings to interesting and inspirational places.  Membership is open to everyone for a small annual fee, meeting on 3rd Thursday of each month.

The club meets on the first Tuesday of every month for a friendly and informal discussion of the book of the Month. Whether we love the book or hate it, our perspective fuels the discussion and provokes different viewpoints.

This was set up to raise money for the church roof fund and is open to all who wish to help preserve the church of St Mary the Virgin.  Activities include talks, supper evenings and a  monthly lottery.

This popular sport is held weekly in the village hall.   Competitions are held with various clubs in neighbouring villages.

Sessions are held on Tuesdays at the Village hall from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.  The cost is £2.50 per person and all are welcome to join in. On the 2nd Saturday of each month there is a Line Dance Disco.  Entrance is £3.00, light refreshments are available and there is a draw, the profits of which go to local charities.
