a Village in the Blackdown Hills of Somerset Yarty Gardening Club Church ‘100’ Club Short Mat Bowls Royal British Legion St Mary’s Friends Neighbourhood Watch Blackdown Hills Rural Partnership Blackdown Hills Hedge Association 1st St Mary Guides 1st St Mary Brownies This was set up to raise money for the church roof fund and is open to all who wish to help preserve the church of St Mary the Virgin.  Activities include talks, supper evenings and a  monthly lottery.
This popular sport is held weekly in the village hall.   Competitions are held with various clubs in neighbouring villages.
St Mary's Friends is a group interested in preserving Buckland St Mary Church.  It aims to raise money solely for the purpose of maintaining the fabric of the Church and Churchyard. Clubs & Societies The Brownies meet on Monday evenings, girls aged between 7 - 10 years
