However, the Faries are making a comeback.    It is known that a small family group has settled in the  in the  Blackdown  Hills  close to our  village.    They no longer wear the red coats of their ancesters as they do their best to blend in with the human inhabitants  and so avert another confrontation with the Pixies..

Even so, we mere mortals will sometimes here the strains of melodies  being sung  in the still air on a Summer’s evening and it may be that this family has been heard joining in in various  choral events  in the Village!!!
