There will be a lot going on over the Jubilee weekend – so many events, things to do, excitements and – we very much hope – some glorious weather to bless us all.
Have you stopped for a moment to think what the Queen might actually hope that you might do for her?

I think that, after her years of unflinching service to this country, she would appreciate it if we took a few moments to come together, to give thanks for the peace and prosperity of the last sixty years, and to pray for her as she enters the later years of her reign and life.

I do hope that you will be able to join us.   See the list of services for opportunities.

The Big Jubilee Thank You

Also, we will have available in all our churches The Big Jubilee Thank You
– an opportunity for you to send your good wishes to our Queen in this
very special occasion. It will be available in all churches from 27 May to 10
June inclusive.

Future Events

The Yarty Garden Club have generously offered a tree to mark the Jubilee.

Where should it go? It has also been suggested that a Community Orchard

could be established on part of the Allotment Field behind the Village Hall

– this idea needs further discussion. The Parish Council feel it would be

good to have some permanent reminder of the Jubilee.
